CSA program tracks and how to apply

The Foundations Track

The Foundations Track is an academic year-long program for public health professionals with less than five years of experience in the field. At the conclusion of the academic year, participating students will receive a $250 stipend for successful completion of all CSA requirements.

The Mid-Career Track

The Mid-Career Track is a semester-long program for public health professionals with five or more years of experience in the field. Foundations Track alumni can be eligible to apply for the Mid-Career Track. At the conclusion of the semester, participating students will receive a $250 stipend for successful completion of all CSA requirements.

Applications for the Fall 2023 tracks are now closed.
All applications are reviewed by a committee of CUNY SPH staff and faculty and are graded on an impartial rubric.

Acceptance into the CSA depends on the number of applicants and competitive nature of the applicant pool. All applicants will be notified of their application’s status regardless of acceptance.
